Please introduce and tell us about yourself.
My name is Travis Wofford. First off, I’m a GOD fearing man that’s learning to walk in his purpose. I’m a husband, a father, grandfather, and businessman. I grew up in a small town in North Carolina called Pittsboro, it’s 20 minutes from Chapel Hill and UNC. I have an amazing wife, and I am the father of two adult children and 2.5 grandchildren. I have one biological sister, but I have a lot of people who I came up with that became my brothers and sisters. I’m a loyal person that cares for his family dearly. If I love you I’ll do anything in the world to help you.
Mr. Wofford, Congratulations to you and your wife Dr. Lashonda Wofford on your new show, “Chopping It Up With The Wofford’s.” Tell the readers about the show and where they can tune in to watch it?
Chopping It Up With The Wofford’s is a show about our life experience as a man, a woman, as a husband, as a wife, and as entrepreneurs being in business together. We talk about the good and the bad. In my opinion, it’s important to let people know about the struggles as well as the victories. We have guests come on to our platform, and we discuss what it took for them to make it in this thing called life and what they’ve experienced. The good, the bad, and the ugly. You can watch our talk show on our Youtube page "Chopping It Up With The Wofford’s."
Recently, you were a speaker at an event, “Claim Your Throne II-Scaling 7-Figure Businesses, Leaving Trust Funds-Not Trauma.” Tell us about the event and the topic you spoke on at the event.
The event was amazing. We met other like-minded business owners and entrepreneurs who were looking to take their business to the next level. They had different resources and contacts in the room that just gave out so much knowledge and information. I spoke about what it’s like to be in business with your spouse and some of the challenges that it can bring.
What advice would you give to readers who would like to build 7-Figure business, but do not know how to get started?
The first step is simply, just start!!
It’s never going to be the right time. The stars aren’t always going to align. You may never have enough money saved. You just need to start. Create a plan, create the business name, get you a LLC, S Corp, or C Corp, and go from there. Also, watch who you tell your dreams and ideas. The wrong person will talk you out of a life-changing opportunity.
I know how important it is to leave generational wealth and a legacy to our children and the next generation. Tell the readers more about the importance of generational wealth and leaving a legacy for the next generation.
It’s extremely important. Someone has to be the one to lay the ground work and foundation for the family's legacy. We need to leave trust funds not debt. It’s our job to make sure the next generation has a ground to build on.
Mr. Wofford, you and your wife are doing amazing work with the “All Bets On Me Academy.” Congratulations on becoming one of the new Instructor/Trainers at the academy. Tell the readers about this great accomplishment.
"The All Bets On Me Academy" is more about giving back. We instruct people on how to be an asset to their community and the people in it by certifying them to become life coaches, and life recovery coaches just to name a few things. When life be lifing, we need people that can help you get back on track, and that’s part of our purpose.
You are a contributing author in the book, “Breaking The Chains: Liberating Your Lineage From Generational Curses. Tell us about the book and the chapter you wrote “Rewriting Family Narratives.”
The book was about the first generations of chain breakers for their families. Being that one who wants to be different and wants to do things differently. My chapter was about breaking all of the stereotypes and bad habits we’ve been passing down from generations. Just because everyone in your family did it doesn’t make it the right thing to do.
Where can the readers purchase a copy of the book, “Breaking The Chains: Liberating Your Lineage From Generational Curses?
You can get a copy of the book at www.lashondawofford.com
The book is also available on Amazon.
Do you have any upcoming conferences, events, or workshops.
We have the next live taping of "Chopping It Up With The Wofford’s" in August. The exact date will be announced soon. We also have the "Becoming Her but Bring Him Conference" in October of this year.
What words of encouragement would you leave for the readers?
Don’t be afraid to dream big and once you wake up from that dream, be sure to put in the work to make that dream your new reality. If you want something you never had before you have to do something you never done before.
