Bio:
Reverend Luella Cook is a Speaker, Christian Professional Counselor, Leadership Strategist Consultant, Coach, Ordained Minister, Evangelist and Mentor.
Background:
Reverend Luella Cook began her career in counseling more than 10 years ago as a Care Coordinator at a breast cancer center for women in Jacksonville, FL and Covington, LA.
When she moved to SC, Luella spent 8 years in healthcare as a case manager for those with co-occurring disorders. She also worked 2 years as a Mental Health Counselor-Intern to at-risk adolescents in an alternative education and Opportunity School program.
Reverend Luella Cook has worked for the South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (SCYAP) Community Based WRAP Services, her caseload consisted of assessment and treatment services for Behavior Modification, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services, and Family Support Services. In addition to counseling, she has been sharing the gospel in several different capacities as Church Administrator, Music Ministry Worship Leader, Family & Children’s Ministry Director, Christian Education and Discipleship Pastor, Evangelist, and devotion leader on social media.
In 2016, God led her to begin Destiny Walkers Empowerment Network, a ministry to women. They hold quarterly meetings and events, an annual event with speakers, singers and vendors to encourage the hearts of women.
Personal Life: Reverend Cook has been married to her husband for 22 years. He is her greatest supporter and best friend. They have two beautiful children EliJah (21) and Princess Emoni (16), a grandson, Kai “Bear” Cook. They reside in the city of Columbia, South Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and close friends, reading, shopping and decorating, and traveling.

Reverend Luella Cook, Evangelist has served in the Church of God for over ten years. Currently, she serves on Pastoral staff at International Praise Church of God, Elgin South Carolina under the spiritual covering of Bishop Doyle and Rev. Sylvia Roberts.
She is the Director of Discipleship Christian Education and Connect Groups Pastor. She also serves the Media Ministry as Promotion Strategist and Administrator of Ministry Events.
In addition to her roles to the local church, Evangelist Cook also manages her personal ministry the GLOW Kingdom Ministries. The GLOW (God Lights Our Way) consists of four primary functions, Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, and Family Ministry/Counseling.
Her education expands to a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Troy State University, Masters in Social Sciences and Professional Counseling and she is pursuing her PhD in Ministry with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion: Building A Strong Church for Today’s Culture.

GLOW Kingdom Ministries, also known as Lady Cook Ministries carries the mantel of the Glory of God. The GLOW-God Lights Our Way encompasses the work of empowering women, equipping women as they grow spiritually in their relationship with Jesus Christ, disciplining the body of Christ, and building healthy families.
The GLOW purpose is to lead women into pursuing their best life now. We equip with practical biblical truths, as we empower you to believe you can become the whole woman you were created to be! Our foundational scripture is found in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Reverend Luella Cook operates the GLOW Destiny Walkers Network as a regional ministry with teams in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

4. I absolutely love that you and your husband have a marriage ministry called, “GLOW Kingdom Marriage Ministry.” Tell us more about the marriage ministry. My husband, Mr. Elton Cook, (retired Veteran of 25 years in the US Army) and I decided to further our calling in ministry together. Through leading and teaching Marriage Ministry in church, our passion continued to grow.
In 2010, we stepped out in faith to launch Higher Ground Inc. a Counseling and Consulting business. Alongside my husband, we provide Christian premarital counseling and Officiant wedding services to couples.
